October 2, 2026
Dear H-BC Elementary Families,
What a great way to start October! Today, our students had the opportunity to hear from Terrence Talley, who shared an engaging message about how each of us can be a superhero. He encouraged students to face their fears, treat others with respect, be truthful and honest, be empathetic, and have fun…dance! Be sure to ask your child about the “Dad Hug”—I think it may lead to a great conversation at home!
It is hard to believe that we are already into the second half of the first quarter. Our students and staff continue to work hard, learn, and make each day count.
One important calendar update: our Kindergarten–Grade 2 Pumpkin Patch visit has been rescheduled for Friday, October 23. We are looking forward to a fun fall experience for our youngest Patriots!
Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff. Have a wonderful weekend, and as always—Go Patriots!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Elementary Principal/District Superintendent

Return the form promptly to H-BC to have your child included in the clinic.

Classroom teachers have reminded students multiple times to peek at the ever-growing pile of items.
