The Hills-Beaver Creek School district is located in the southwest corner of the state of Minnesota. We are the only school district in Minnesota that borders both Iowa and South Dakota. The District is approximately 20 miles east of Sioux Falls, SD. The School District is approximately 117 square miles and is made up of the communities of Hills, Beaver Creek, and Steen.
Why Hills-Beaver Creek ISD #671?
ISD #671 offers a comprehensive program beginning with two offerings of preschool, all-day everyday kindergarten, and a grade 1-5 program all housed at the Elementary School located in the city of Beaver Creek! The Secondary School, located in the city of Hills, was newly constructed in 2011 and houses the grades 6-12 program. HBC Elementary will have a NEW school in the Fall of 2025 located in Beaver Creek, MN.
Hills-Beaver Creek Secondary was a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School & Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary was a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School.

Position: Agriculture Teacher / FFA Advisor
1 Teaching Position + 10 extra contract days
Qualifications: Current Minnesota Vocational Agriculture Teacher & Teacher Coordinator Work Based Learning License or the ability to obtain MN licensure.

Mock Trial Advisor for 2026-2027 School Year
Position: Mock Trial Advisor
Provide leadership, organization and supervision to Mock Trial Team
Responsibilities: Previous coordinating experience preferred including organize mock trial practices and competitions. Training and instructing students to compete at the highest level. Ensure all mock trial students gain competitive experience as they develop knowledge of law. Provide positive feedback for students.
