Bottled water only necessary at the Elementary School in Beaver Creek. Due to water main break in City of Beaver Creek, 24 hour boiled water in effect. Regular consumption at the Elementary School to continue Wednesday, May 29.

Due to City if BEAVER CREEK water main break, students and staff may choose to bring their own water bottles to school tomorrow, Tuesday, May 28. The school will also have bottled water on hand for students and staff. Beaver Creek water is not supposed to be consumed without boiling. Wednesday’s water use may go back to normal use.

Congratulations to Madison Spath, Taryn Rauk, Layla Deelstra, and Sidney Fick for breaking the 4x1 relay record last night in Pipestone. It was a 28 year old school record set back in 1991.


On May 22, the HBC Boys and Girls Golf teams competed in the first day of the Section 3A Golf Meet in Worthington. Hannah Fick, Tess Van Maannen and Thomas Dysthe advance to the final Section Meet on May 29, with a chance to move on to the state golf tournament in June.

Reminder that we have rescheduled puppy relays for tomorrow. It looks like it may be a little cool but hopefully dry. Remind students to dress for the weather.


Puppy Relays will be postponed for today. We will plan to have them on Monday, May 20. The schedule will remain the same with 12:45 start time.

Successful day at the Entrepreneur Fair! 5th grade students sold a variety of products to the rest of the student body.




On May 14th, at Worthington Country Club, Tess Van Mannen earned 2nd place in the Red Rock Conference Golf Tournament, Hannah Fick tied for 8th place. Both golfers received All Conference honors!

Great performance of “Summer Camp” tonight by the 3-5 students and elementary honor choir.

Puppy Relays are scheduled for Friday, May 17. Join the PTO for a tailgate meal before events start. They will begin serving at noon. Free will donation.

Students and staff at HBC Elem. & High Schools successfully completed the evacuation drill today, May 7th. For future instances, the school will communicate with parents via the student information system, JMC. Thank you to Rock County Sheriff, Hills Fire and Beaver Creek Fire for their assistance in today's drill. I'm very pleased with our students cooperation and focus!
