This past fall HBC Secondary was awarded the 2024 National Blue Ribbon School Award for being a top performing school in our nation. HBC has had a long tradition of excellence and we would like to celebrate the HBC school district by inviting past alumni back to journey through their time at HBC & beyond. Assistant United States Attorney, Matt Ebert, HBC class of 1997, will be visiting HBC Secondary to share his incredible journey from HBC student (with two parents as HBC teachers - Mr. & Mrs. Ebert), to Georgetown graduate, to U of MN Law School, to working for the US Justice Department and now working on some of the largest fraud cases in US history as an Assistant United States Attorney. Matt will be at HBC Secondary on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM (11:12 AM is the official start) to speak about how his experiences at HBC helped shape his success. The H-BC Robotics Team is planning to Pie a Staff Member in the Face during next week's secondary staff vs. student basketball game on Thursday morning.
Students can donate money but putting it in the jars of the staff member they would like to see get pied. The staff member with the most money in their jar will get a pie in the face.
Any donation amount works (BIG or small). The money collected will help fund the team's trip to an international competition this June.
The group will also be selling Culver's custard on Tuesday, April 22 at the secondary school.
