Students going into grades 6, 7 and 8 who are interested in joining the middle school robotics team should return the application to the high school on or before Aug. 22 or email it to l.moore@isd671.net. Last week was the HBC July Volleyball Camp for our K-6th grade girls! Thank you to our HBC Volleyball Team, Coach Untiedt and Coach Scruggs for leading this AMAZING camp. Hills-Beaver Creek FFA Field Update - With all of the recent rain and weather, the corn in the school field has survived without any damage. It has now reached 30 inches tall and is weed free due to New Vision spraying for us. So far this year, we have accumulated approximately 900 growing degree units. We planted 97 day corn, which will require about 2,300 -2,600 growing degree units to reach relative maturity (black layer). So far our corn is looking good, and we are about a third of the way until we see the potential of our crop! #HBCFFA
