This past fall HBC Secondary was awarded the 2024 National Blue Ribbon School Award for being a top performing school in our nation. HBC has had a long tradition of excellence and we would like to celebrate the HBC school district by inviting past alumni back to journey through their time at HBC. Marla Meyer, class of 1988, will be visiting HBC Secondary to share her incredible journey from HBC student to becoming a top executive at Coca-Cola & Pepsi to eventually the CEO of Girl Scouts - Dakota Horizon. Congratulations to the H-BC Middle School Robotics Teams! They traveled, along with 28 other teams, to Augustana University Saturday to compete at the South Dakota Championship. H-BC had a great day, bringing home two trophies and lots of new memories. The Banana Sharks earned second place in Robot Design. The Eelectric Engineers were named Champion’s Award Finalist (second place over all).
