Thanks to all that voted in yesterday's 4/11/23 Hills-Beaver Creek School District Bond Referendum. The unofficial results showed that both questions were approved. The Board will canvass the election at its regular meeting on Monday, April 17, 2023.

Tomorrow- 4/10, Monday, buses will resume their normal routes back on gravel roads- where able. Also, County Road 6 will be closed between 41st & 61st Streets. We will need to have buses and vehicles take alternate routes. This may cause some delays.
Congrats to the HBC Music Dept who traveled to Fulda on Monday for Solo & Ensemble in both band and choir. The following choir students received Superior rating- Lexi (Solo) Tyrae (Solo) Malli (Solo) Ashton(Solo) Lexi &Sarah (Duet). Attention HBC Families - Road Work Ahead - Beginning Mon., April 10 (for approx. 3 weeks) - County Road 6 (between Hills and Beaver Creek), between 41st & 61st Street, will be closed due to culverts being placed. PLAN AHEAD FOR ALTERNATE ROUTES & DETOURS ON COUNTY ROAD 6
CLARIFICATION-If the proposed elementary school were to be built in Hills, the operations costs estimated reduction is $30,000/year. There was some confusion between the operations cost and building costs. Currently, the elementary is proposed to be built in Beaver Creek.

Driver Education Update - Mon., March 20 - NO Driver Education Class
Tues., March 23 - LAST Driver Education Class - Students should bring ALL driver's education homework to turn in; students will take Final Test; Parent Meeting will follow at 6 PM (for parents who signed up).
H-BC Buses on Paved Roads only beginning Monday, March 20, 2023, until further notice. Drivers will contact families.
School is now in session for students on Friday, March 24, 2023 and Monday, April 10, 2023.
